Ramblers Baseball 2009

I had the pleasure of photographing the Ramblers baseball team again this year. These boys are so sweet and well behaved. We made it through individuals and team pictures in 15 mintues tonight! The parents are wonderful to work with and the boys always have great games! Thanks Ramblers!

Heading home to go to a birthday party then to a wedding tonight. Hopefully I will have time to edit pictures tonight.

Had a great time at my sister's 8th grade promotion last night. Went to a wonderful dinner with my family then had to stay in Grove for the night due to storms.

Landrie's 1st Birthday

Ms. Landrie will turn 1 year old next week. We did her 1st birthday pictures last weekend, and it was such a blast. She had so much fun eating the blocks, rubber duck, and birthday hat, but she didn't care for the cake too much. I don't think she liked the icing on her hands. There are a couple of pics of dad feeding her cake and she is taking bites. I cannot believe this little angel is turning a year old already. She is the sweetest little girl, and we had so much fun playing on Sunday.

Addison's 1st Birthday

I that I had posted this video on here last week, but I guess I didn't. This is from Ms. Addison's 1st Birthday pictures I took a few weeks ago. She loved the cake and dug right into it. Addison was born with a heart condition that the doctors said would never get better. When her parents took her back in for her 6 or 9 month checkup, her heart condition was gone and the doctors couldn't explain it. Addison is definitely Todd and Jody's little miracle baby. She is so precious and I am so grateful I got to capture this milestone for her and her family.

FBCO Easter Pictures

Last Saturday, FBCO and All 4 U Photography offered free Easter Pictures to the community. We photographed 32 children in about 4 hours. This was a lot of fun and I enjoyed meeting all the wonderful families. Thank you again to all of the volunteers who helped make this ministry a great success! God is wonderful!

Campbell's 1st Birthday

I had the privilege of doing Campbell's 1 year old pictures a week ago. Melissa scheduled the appointment for afternoon because that is Campbell's best time of day. Campbell was a little unsure of everything and didn't want to let mom put her down. She did cooperate enough to get some great pictures of her. She had a blast with the cake. We had to put her in the bathtub when it was all said and done, but I had so much fun with this session. Campbell is a doll!

Baylee's Birthday Party

Baylee's birthday party was an 80's theme skating party. I had so much fun seeing all the kids dressed up with the hair all poofy. I must admit it did bring back some memories and made me realize how crazy we used to dress. The kids had a blast and the parents even got in on the skating. Here are some pics from the party.

Snowball 2009

I had the opportunity to do the photography for the Copan Middle School Snowball dance again this year. It was so much fun. I love seeing all the kids dressed up and having a good time. I love the formal shots, but the dance floor shots are my favorite because they are unexpected. Since it was snowball, the theme was of course winter and snowflakes. The plan was to do a balloon arch, but that didn't quite work out so we went with just the arch with lights around it. I loved the way the backdrop turned out, but wish I would have had one more piece of the metallic streamers.

UPCOMING EVENTS

I am so excited about some opportunities that are coming up this spring. I am teaming up with First Baptist Owasso and offering Easter photo sessions to the community. We are working on all the details and I will post all of the information once it is complete. God is working in so many lives right now, and he is so wonderful. God Bless!

Thomas Family

This is another session I did before Christmas. We were supposed to take them a week before we did, but the weather was supposed to be windy and cold. It turned out the weather that day was beautiful and the day we did take them was very cold. The kids did great even though they were freezing.

Brown Family

This is the second time I have had the opportunity to photograph this wonderful family. The kids are absolutely adorable and I just love their parents. I have been friends with this family for four years now, and the little girl will one day be my daughter-in-law. These pictures were taken for Christmas 2008.

Where have I been???

One of my goals this year was to keep my blog page updated. Unfortunately, that has not been happening so far in 2009 but with good reason. I have been working on designing and recreating my web site. I refuse to pay someone an outrageous amount of money to create it when I have all the software to do it myself. I have ran into a few minor problems along the way, but most of them have been user error. The web site is almost complete so I should have more time to post soon!

Welcome to my new blog page! Yes, it looks just like the old one but because I was having problems getting the name to pull off the search engine correctly I had to create a new blog with a new URL. Starting today, I will be posting everything to this blog and will not be using the old blog anymore.
